Giveaways

Giveaways is a highly scalable discord bot for hosting giveaways in your Discord servers. Originally developed for Discord’s Snowsgiving 2019 event and used during Discord’s 5th birthday giveaway extravaganza, Giveaways has been made available to anyone wishing to host thier own giveaways. As of August 2020, Giveaways has hosted over 9,000 giveaways with 1.4 million entrants.

Giveaways is written using Spring and powered by a MySQL database. Due to technical reasons, Discord only shows the last 5,000 reactions in a channel. In order for users to verify their entry into giveaways, a web dashboard written in React is provided.
